(Stage 1) Granular Activated Carbon Filter: It takes out 99% of the chlorine and organic chemicals. It provides enhanced reduction of taste, odor, and color. Protect and prolong the life of membrane.
(Stage 2) Reverse Osmosis Membrane: A thin film composite (TFC) high quality membrane that processes 50 gallons per day. It removes the following hard water contaminants that may be present in your water: lead, cooper, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrite, nitrate, and selenium.

Deionization (DI) filters. De-mineralize filter takes the full size RO to a higher level of filtration. It is an excellent selection for reef enthusiasts and other serious aquarists, especially those who live in areas with exceptionally high levels of phosphates in their tap water. Our unit includes: sediment pre-filters, carbon pre-filters and TFC (Thin Film Composite) membrane, Deionization (DI) post-filters in clear housings. The post deionizer takes the small percentage of contaminants that the membrane could not remove and filters this to greater than 99.99% pure.
