WATER CYCLE Home Greywater System
The Watercycle greywater system for your laundry water has been designed to provide an automatic way to easily reuse waste laundry water in your gardens.
Simply, by connecting to the waste pipe from the laundry and connecting to the supplied Drip Irrigation Pipe you can save those precious plants and once more take pleasure from your efforts in the garden. If you have a large garden area you can purchase additional Drip Irrigation Lines. Our simple connectors fitted for changing watering areas without effort save carrying awkward hoses backwards and forward around the yard.
As high Level water Restrictions become law do we really want to carry buckets and buckets and buckets around the garden or have Mum or Dad straining their backs on these hot summer days?
Of course the system has a filter to remove lint and also to reduce the soap and other contaminants so you don't end up with a grey smelly mess at the end of the hose.
The big advantage of a watercycle Greywater system is Total automatic watering once installed. An electronic controller turns the pump on when the tank is full and off again when it is empty, no need for you to keep an eye on it. The pump is a safe low voltage unit designed to run for years. Naturally we offer a warranty on pumps and controllers if they fail within 12 months.
Maintenance is simple, clean out the hair and lint filter every few weeks, more often if necessary and replacing the main filter every 12 months.
In most households we use 30% to 40% of water on our gardens. (This is bought from the local council.) After cleaning and sterilising the greywater we can easily redirect most of our greywater to the garden. Greywater - water used once in the laundry shower and hand basin and then dumped down the drain. What a wicked waste in times of drought and water shortage and even without these conditions why pay for it then dump it. This water contains soaps and detergents and with a little thought and for little cost we can give this water a second life. A NIMII Trench system is designed to keep the greywater near the surface of the soil to allow soil microbes and worms etc to digest the nutrients and pollutants and reduce the concentrates to negligible levels.Similar to septic tanks a settling tank holds the waste water and allows solids to fall out to the bottom of the tank, then flows to a distribution box and to two or more shallow trenches. These trenches are opposite to a standard septic trench because they are upside down, that is sealed underneath to retain the effluent near the surface where it is evaporated and also taken up by water loving plants which are planted above the trench. AUSTRALIAN ROTALOO COMPOSTING TOILET-The Australian ROTALOO Dry Composting Toilet system has evolved over many years to become one of the most efficient composting systems-maintenance is minimal. The simple construction, using an internal rotating turntable holding six composting bins, allows each bin to be filled and then moved on to compost free from fresh material being added. Liquids drain through into the base where they are evaporated by air flow from the fan unit which also provides a constant fresh supply of warm air to the compost pile by drawing air down through the pedestal to prevents odour rising into the toilet room. The Rotaloo comes in various sizes to cater for 3 to 5 permanent residents the larger models can have two pedestals - special units are for Commercial Applications. Rotaloo installation is simple enough for any competent Trades person to set it up in half a day after site preparation. Slab on ground needs special design criteria.
